Menu Plan Monday: Thanksgiving

by Cindy Watrous on November 21, 2011

Instead of focusing on what we will be eating all week, today I’ve chosen to highlight our Thanksgiving meal. With J being in culinary school, my grandmother opted to switch things up this year. Instead of eating a catered meal at her house, we’re making the meal from scratch ourselves at my mom’s house.

Appetizers

Cheese ball

Pinwheels

Entrees

Brined Roast Turkey

Glazed Ham (Maybe traditional, maybe root beer!)

Side Dishes

Corn Bread Stuffing

Green Bean Casserole with Mushroom Gravy

Whole Cranberry Sauce (J’s MasterChef audition recipe!)

Macaroni and Cheese

Celery Root Mashed Potatoes

Sweet Potato Casserole

Croissants

Desserts

Bourbon Pecan Pie

Creme Brulee
